I have experience translating NO/DA/SE in various genres through both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as my professional experience working with publishers and agencies. I was the recipient of the National Centre for Writing's 2019/20 Emerging Translator Mentorship in Norwegian, in which I spent 6 months being mentored in literary translation by Kari Dickson. I have since participated in career development workshops and summer schools, hosted by the BCLT, NORLA, the TA and the Norwegian Embassy.
I am particularly passionate about translating Scandinavian crime fiction, science/speculative fiction, fantasy and children's literature. My current passion projects include translating the works of Tor Åge Bringsværd, Jon Bing and Kaspar Colling Nielsen's speculative fiction, and women's travel writing from 20th century Svalbard.
